Our most popular family event is returning to Allan Border Field on Sunday the 4th of September, and you’re invited!
Coinciding with Father’s Day and the Premier Cricket KFC T20 Max Final, there’s no better place to enjoy an arvo of cricket, family, food & fun. Here’s what to expect:
MEET A BUNCH OF PLAYERS
Rub shoulders with your favourite Heat BBL & WBBL players, as well as the Bulls & Fire squad. Queensland cricket superstars like Marnus Labuschagne, Usman Khawaja, Jess Jonassen & Grace Harris will be there, so be sure to say hello and grab a photo!
ENJOY FREE ACTIVITIES
Test your cricket skills on the blow-up inflatables, meet Heater, get your face painted, and grab heaps of free giveaways! We’re also selling discounted Big Bash tickets, so this is the perfect opportunity to lock in great seats for the summer early.
LEARN HOW TO PLAY
From 11am – 12pm, our community cricket team will be hosting a free Woolworths Cricket Blast clinic. Brisbane Heat players will also join in on the fun so participants can learn some tips and tricks from the pros. The session will take place on the main field, giving kids the opportunity to experience what it’s like to play on the home turf of Queensland Cricket.
CATCH THE T20 MAX FINAL
Kicking off at 1pm, grab some lunch from the canteen and settle into the KFC T20 Max Final. The men’s competition will bring the top QLD Premier Cricket teams together for a showdown of fast-paced action, massive hits & epic wickets. Witness breakthrough local talent from the very beginning and enjoy an awesome Sunday arvo of cricket. It doesn’t get any better than that.

The Brisbane Heat are an Australian professional cricket team competing in the Big Bash League (BBL), representing both men’s and women’s cricket. Based in Brisbane, Queensland, the Heat succeeded the Queensland Bulls, who played in the former KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The team wears a teal uniform and plays at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, known as The Gabba.
