The Brisbane Heat are an Australian professional cricket team competing in the Big Bash League (BBL), representing both men's and women's cricket. Based in Brisbane, Queensland, the Heat succeeded the Queensland Bulls, who played in the former KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The team wears a teal uniform and plays at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, known as The Gabba.

The Brisbane Heat have maintained the same squad of 13 players for tomorrow night’s KFC Big Bash League game against the Hobart Hurricanes in Hobart.

The Heat travel to Hobart today in the wake of last night’s loss to the Perth Scorchers at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.

Brisbane lost by 40 runs when they were bowled out for 109 after restricting the visitors to 6-149.

Paceman Ben Laughlin became the first player to take 100 career BBL wickets with his haul of 2-32 last night.

He also featured in a final wicket stand with Afghanistan spinner Zahir Khan who finished 19 not out, becoming the first No.11 to top-score in an innings in BBL history.

Brisbane will play two games in quick succession, taking on the Hurricanes tomorrow before heading to Sydney to play the Sydney Thunder at Spotless Stadium on Monday night.
