Brisbane Heat fans are in for a treat this summer with the return of the New Year’s Bash fixture against the Sydney Sixers on 1 January 2024.

A highlight event for the KFC Big Bash League, this year’s NYB is planned to top last year’s spectacle with a huge music line up dropping in August.

The inaugural NYB event included performances from Peking Duk, Ball Park Music, KLP and Stace Cadet, attracting the biggest crowd in three years. Over 23,000 fans flocked to the Gabba for an unforgettable night of Big Bash entertainment, which ended in an iconic 15-run Heat victory against the Sixers, and the highest total of runs scored in the club’s history.

Kicking off in prime time at 6:15pm, Heat fans can mark the 1st of January off in their calendar for this must-see showdown against the Heat’s southern rivals.

The entire BBL|13 fixture will be released tomorrow at 10am, with 5 home games scheduled in the peak of the December & January school holidays.

Fans can secure a Heat 5-game or 2-game membership from 10am tomorrow to access the best seats in house. General public tickets will be available from Monday 21 August.
