The Brisbane Heat are set to make a splash this summer, announcing a significant partnership with a leading Australian business ahead of the 2024-25 Weber Women’s Big Bash League and KFC Big Bash League.

Poolwerx, the largest pool and spa maintenance network across Australia and New Zealand, has joined the Heat as its new Major Partner for the next two years.

The Poolwerx brand will feature on the front of the playing and training apparel for the Brisbane Heat teams in the Weber Women’s Big Bash League and KFC Big Bash League for the next two seasons, while also having major signage and activation rights at all Heat home games.

Poolwerx has a network of 140 retail stores and over 480 service vans across Australia and New Zealand, and offers a one-stop-shop to clients including pool maintenance, water testing and balancing, equipment, chemicals and commercial services.

Brisbane Heat CEO Terry Svenson said the club would take a strong off-field sponsorship team into the coming summer.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Poolwerx as our new Major Partner,’’ he said.

“As a Queensland born organisation performing on the national and international stage and with a focus creating backyard memories, we see a great correlation to the Brisbane Heat and our purpose of Bringing Families Together.

“Partnering with Poolwerx means we are well placed to deliver an outstanding result for the game in Queensland. This level of investment in the Heat helps us grow cricket in the community at a grass roots level and support our volunteers.

“We are excited to work with Poolwerx to grow their brand and profile among our fanbase and followers for what promises to be a huge WBBL|10 and BBL|14,” Svenson said.

Poolwerx CEO Nic Brill expressed his enthusiasm in teaming up with the Heat for two more years.

“We’re proud to be elevating our commitment with the Brisbane Heat to bring families together this summer and make long-lasting backyard memories,” he said.

“As two iconic Queensland brands, we share many of the same values making this partnership a natural fit. We look forward to collaborating with the Heat to create engaging and memorable experiences for fans and franchise partners, both on and off the field.”

Poolwerx will continue to engage Brisbane Heat fans and clients through it’s ‘Classic Catch’ competition over the summer, aligning perfectly with memorable moments in the backyard pool throughout the season.

Poolwerx was an Official Partner last summer, its first with the Heat, and has increased that commitment as one of the club’s most prominent sponsors.

Today’s announcement coincided with the Heat confirming the latest member of last season’s BBL championship team to re-sign with the club.

Versatile batter Max Bryant will extend his ties with the Heat through until 2026, having made his debut in BBL|08 in 2018-19.
