The Brisbane Heat has welcomed the news that National Storage has re-committed their sponsorship of the club for a further two seasons.

The renewal takes National Storage’s sponsorship of the Heat through to the 2024-25 season, having first come on board in 2015.

True to the Heat’s ‘One Club, Two Teams’ principal, the sponsorship will see the National Storage brand featured on the sleeve of the club’s WBBL and BBL team playing kit.

Brisbane Heat and Queensland Cricket CEO Terry Svenson welcomed the news.

“National Storage are a long-term partner of the Brisbane Heat, and we are excited and thankful to announce we will be continuing our journey for at least another two years,” he said.

“The contribution of National Storage and all of our sponsors allows Queensland Cricket to re-invest into the community to get cricket bats and balls in the hands of more boys and girls across the State. This news significantly helps create a brighter future for our game.

“The Brisbane Heat are now one of the premier brands and clubs in Australian sport, and we are proud to call organisations like National Storage, who are on an exciting growth trajectory, our partners,” Svenson said.

National Storage Managing Director Andrew Catsoulis said:

“We are thrilled to support the growth of Queensland Cricket by continuing our partnership with the Brisbane Heat.”

“National Storage’s sponsorship of the BBL and WBBL teams has been greatly successful. We are proud to invest in a club that is committed to teamwork and equal opportunity,” he said.

Alongside apparel branding on the Heat jersey, National Storage will continue to receive exposure via key at-match signage and sponsorship of the Heat’s Inner Sanctum digital and social media series.

The Heat will continue their build-up to next week’s BBL season opener in Cairns with practice sessions across the week.

English import Ross Whiteley will be available to media at 12pm today at Allan Border Field. A VNR will be provided.

Tomorrow: Individual planning and training day – no scheduled media op.
Friday: Media op, New Zealand recruit Colin Munro available at 12.30pm – venue TBA. Intra-squad practice match, 5pm – 9pm, Metricon Stadium.
