We recently invited our members along to the iconic Wheel of Brisbane in Southbank to enjoy a ride with Heat players! It’s fair to say everyone had a wheely good time.
To launch ‘Tickets on Sale’, we treated our members to the ultimate VIP experience. Heat families had the chance to jump inside a carriage to meet their favourite player, all whilst taking in the breath taking 360-degree panoramic views of Brisbane City from 60 metres above the ground!
Players including Marnus Labuschagne, Usman Khawaja, Mitch Swepson, Grace Harris and Jess Jonassen all did a loop on the ferris wheel and surprised members with premium ticket upgrades and some fresh Heat merch.
It wouldn’t be a Big Bash event without a little game of cricket! At the base of the wheel, Heat kids had the chance to pick up a bat and get bowled a few balls from Marnus & Mitch. Now that’s something that doesn’t happen every day!

Based in Brisbane, Queensland, the Heat succeeded the Queensland Bulls, who played in the former KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The team wears a teal uniform and plays at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, known as The Gabba.
