The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) have launched LIVE & LOUDER, a new and exciting events platform that will sit alongside all CPL’s current cricket tournaments, both men and women. The new brand will see the party vibes that CPL is so famous for, expanded to include events that capture the best aspects of Caribbean culture, starting with music, but with broader plans to include other genres, such as food and fashion.
The first of these events will see world class music artists appearing at all four Saint Lucia Kings home matches. The games will not only feature fantastic cricket but be a chance for fans to watch some of the biggest artists from St Lucia performing live, all of which will be included as part of the match day ticket. These shows will take place at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground between 7th and 15th of September bringing even more focus to the venue whilst the CPL games are taking place.
LIVE & LOUDER will then move to Barbados, bringing the CPL vibe to Beach Cricket at the popular Brownes beach on September 15th. Teams will compete for the first Beach Blast championship with the highlight being the latter stages of the competition where Celebrities will get involved to try and help their team lift the first ever Beach Blast trophy.
Pete Russell, CPL’s CEO, said: “LIVE & LOUDER is a great way for fans to further enjoy the CPL experience. We are excited to be creating a diverse range of events, all of which will focus on the unique and unforgettable experiences you find across the Caribbean. The LIVE & LOUDER brand will have a year-round focus and we will be announcing more events in due course. For now, we look forward to welcoming all our amazing fans to the St Lucia Concerts and the Barbados Beach Blast.”
