The Central Gauteng Lions in partnership with Ashraful Aid International Humanitarian Organisation visited the Alexandra Cricket Club on Sunday (1 August) to donate food parcels and conduct a coaching clinic.
Imperial Lions men’s coach Wandile Gwavu, batsman Kagiso Rapulana and Imperial Lions Women’s cricketer Raisibe Ntozakhe all attended, giving of their time for tomorrow’s heroes.
“As part of our aim to respond to calls of despair from communities, we are pleased to have partnered with the Central Gauteng Lions in their efforts to deliver much needed humanitarian aid to help alleviate poverty in Alexandra. We value our partnership with CGL and will continue to support our cricket heroes in their endeavors to give back to communities,” Chief Operating Officer, Yusuf Nabee.
