Imperial Wanderers Stadium in partnership with Iownit are proud to host the inaugural Small Business & Earning Opportunities show, on Thursday 2 September 2021 and Friday 3 September 2021.

The Iownit Small Business and Earning Opportunities show aims to stimulate the growth of small business’, giving aspiring entrepreneurs opportunities to access the country’s best franchisors, manufacturers and more.

The trade show is the perfect space for those wanting to meet face-to-face within a deal-making and Covid19 protocol controlled environment, so says Wanele Mngomezulu, Lions Cricket, Marketing, Commercial and Communications Manager;

In response to the changing and challenging times faced by South African society, the Central Gauteng Lions (CGL) board and management intends to create sustainable job opportunities for youth employment through the better use of the 70-year old Stadium, so says Jono Leaf-Wright, Lions Cricket, Chief Executive Officer; “We continuously strive towards the redesign of the stadium into a multi-purpose asset which not only seeks to offer the world’s best cricket venue but to contribute to the country’s urgent and dire employment creation as more than a third of South Africa’s youth are unemployed. CGL believes in the better utilization of its resources for the betterment of the society. The exploration of the Multi-Purposing of Stadium into Business Incubators and Entrepreneurial Hubs in South Africa is a fabric of the organizational strategy including the use of cricket as the change agent”.
