Cricket Australia is pleased to announce the completion of its executive team, following the appointment of two new executives.

Cricket Australia has appointed Sarah McCartney to the role of Executive General Manager of Communications & Marketing and Ankit Mishra to the role of General Manager of Strategy & Innovation.

McCartney joins CA with extensive experience in setting corporate strategy, driving business improvement, and leading large scale transformation programs.

For more than two decades, McCartney has been a trusted corporate affairs advisor to Boards, CEOs and C-Suite executives in Australia and overseas, across a range of industry sectors including transport, health, oil and energy, education, entertainment, and postal services. Mishra joins Cricket Australia after previously holding senior strategy roles at Telstra, NBN Co. and global management consulting firm A.T Kearney Consulting.

With a wealth of experience spanning across five countries, Mishra has a wide range of experiences across numerous business areas including analytics, tech-led innovation, and business strategy and will be responsible for driving Cricket Australia’s next strategic planning cycle.

The appointments round out CA’s executive team following the appointment of Allison Robison as Cricket Australia’s Executive General Manager of People & Culture in September 2021.

Robison brings more than 15 years’ experience from a distinguished career in human resources, leadership development and organisational transformation within global corporations across telecommunications, financial services, mortgage broking and professional services. Robison also currently serves as Chair of Athletics Victoria and as a member of the Board Nominations Committee for Athletics Australia.
