Ed Sanders, former Google executive, has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of Cricket Australia.
Sanders will spearhead the strategic development and execution of Cricket Australia’s commercial initiatives and partnerships.
Sanders, who has dedicated much of his career to Google across London, New York, and Silicon Valley, brings vast global commercial and marketing expertise spanning diverse sectors such as sports and entertainment, technology, entrepreneurship, and law.
Commenting on the new role, Sanders remarked: “I am thrilled to return to Australia and join Cricket Australia at such a pivotal and exciting time for the sport. I am committed to innovate, to deliver an amazing fan experience, and to leverage our commercial opportunities to further enhance cricket’s growth and success.”
