Iconic Australian brands Bundaberg Distilling Company and Bundaberg Ginger Beer will join Cricket Australia’s line-up of official beverage partners of the Australian men’s and women’s teams in a multi-year partnership.

This year Bundaberg Distilling Company will hero its Bundaberg Rum brand alongside Bundaberg’s Ginger Beer, with Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley saying he is thrilled to welcome both brands to the Australian cricket family in time for two home Ashes series this summer.

“It seems only fitting we announce this exciting partnership from Queensland, the host of the first Ashes Test of the summer and where these two brands were born and bred,” said Mr Hockley.

“Ginger Beer is a great match for cricket and Australian sunshine and we are looking forward to a successful partnership over the coming summers”.

Andrew Oughton, Marketing & Innovation Director at Diageo, says “Bundy is thrilled to be partnering with Cricket Australia to support the men’s and women’s games with our iconic Aussie brand. Cricket is a major passion point for our fans and there is no better match for a hot summers day than the delicious refreshing taste of a Bundy”

John McLean, CEO of Bundaberg Ginger Beer, says “We are committed to iconic Australian moments and know both the cricket and our Ginger Beer are synonymous with summer in Australia. So, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Cricket Australia during an Ashes series we have all been eagerly waiting for. We are confident we will get a lot of runs on the board over this  partnership and enjoy a few Brews along the way.”
