Your role is a national one, and you will be responsible for building and securing our technology platforms as well as responding to high-level security requests and incidents – all within the context of Australia’s favourite sport.
An opportunity to build on existing engineering or architecture experience by adding or enhancing a cber security focus, this role will allow you to combine a passion for cricket (or sport in general) with your interest in the dynamic, fast-paced and challenging world that is cyber security.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Cyber Security Manager, you will:
- Analyse and assess vulnerabilities in the environment, investigate available countermeasures and recommend solutions and best practices
- Perform proactive security monitoring and analysis to detect security incidents
- Respond to sensitive or high-level security incidents and requests in accordance with procedure and within SLEs
- Investigate, deploy and utilise new technologies and process to enhance security capabilities and implement improvements
- Conduct information security awareness training
- Maintain metrics of key operational measures
- Conduct cyber security awareness training
- Remain up to date on information technology and cyber security trends and standards
- Provide auxiliary support to Australian Cricket locations, matches, and events
- Provide after hours and on call support for cyber security incidents at agreed times
You’ll Have
- A bachelor degree in Cyber Security or a related field
- Current Microsoft Cyber Security certifications
- 5+ years technology industry experience
- Experience in administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Experience in developing and updating technical documentaiton
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
- Strong experience in vendor management
- A strong desire to enhance or establish a Cyber Security focus
- Customer oriented focus with exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
You May Also Have
- Post-graduate qualifications in Cyber Security or Cloud Architecture
- ISC2 CCSP/SSCP/CISSP
- ISACA CISM
- Experience in a cyber security-related field
- Experience with computer/network penetration testing and techniques
- An ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
- Familiarity with server and workstation administration, including policy configuration and deployment
- Familiarity with PowerShell and/or other scripting languages and techniques
