    Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Marketing and Communications, in this leadership role you will drive the development and oversee the implementation of a marketing strategy that positions cricket as number one for fans and participants. You will lead a talented and dedicated team of brand and marketing professionals focused on delivering innovative and distinctive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and resonate with fans.

    Specifically, the focus is on driving deeper fan experiences and increased passion and love of the cricket.

    About the role

    We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering a focused brand and marketing strategy and leading a high performing marketing team.

    Specifically, you will be responsible for:
  • Lead the development of a go-to-market retail focused marketing strategy that supports the Australian Cricket strategic priorities and enhances brand equity
  • Develop and evolve the brand strategy and direction that aligns with key business objectives.
  • Develop annual bespoke marketing and promotional plans to support the achievement of annual ticket sales targets for International Cricket and W/BBL
  • Leading the use of advanced marketing analytics to drive commercial outcomes
  • Manage the ongoing development of CA customer data and direct marketing programs
  • Develop annual marketing and promotional plans to support the achievement of participation targets
  • Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and manage annual marketing budget, inclusive of media, production, digital, direct, research and agency partners
  • Nurture a high performing marketing team
  • Contribute added value via knowledge sharing of best practice entertainment marketing
  • Develop strategic partnerships with ‘like’ entities or brands that contribute to broader marketing objectives

    About you

    To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A degree qualification in marketing or a related field
  • Extensive experience as Head of Marketing/CMO in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Exceptional brand marketer
  • Strong strategic thinker and thrives in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding collaborator and stakeholder manager
  • Proven track record of delivering strong outcomes in a sports/entertainment or related industry
  • Outstanding network of contacts within the sports and/or entertainment industry
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills
  • Current (or willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check and permit
