  • Managing disputes and litigation affecting CA and protect commercial and contractual rights.
  • Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing major agreements, including procurement and commercial revenue arrangements, player and umpire contracts, and licensing agreements.
  • Driving process, policy improvements, and risk mitigation initiatives by identifying areas of innovation and efficiency
  • Acting as the Legal team lead for the Australian Cricket Child safety framework project team, driving improvements across CA and Australian Cricket.
  • Providing practical and efficient methods for implementing improvements and lead education and compliance with key contracting, delegation, and procurement policies.
  • Supporting the Head of Legal – Commercial & Cricket Operations and the broader Legal team with general legal support for CA as required.

  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner openly and collaboratively with internal teams
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks and goals based on highest value/risk/urgency
  • Experience in balancing legal and commercial outcomes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive and agile when tasks and goals change
  • Positive attitude and team and solutions focused
  • Demonstrated experience in using initiative to identify areas for improvement
