ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting time for us, as we have created a brand-new National Event Operations Coordinator role within our Events & Operations department. This role forms an integral part of the events team assisting planning and operational event delivery of international cricket matches with a primary focus on facilitating brilliant experiences for fans, supporting attendance growth and maximising event profitability at match.

Reporting to the Senior Event Director, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assist and lead identified elements of the operational planning for CA international cricket content.
  • Assist in developing detailed planning documentation and subsequent execution of relevant cricket content.
  • Support cross functional business and stakeholder planning and delivery of cricket events in relevant markets, with the principle aim of delivering brilliant experiences, increasing attendance and maximising profitability.
  • Support preparations for event debrief and event planning sessions.
  • Manage catering, deliveries and stakeholder parking operations across all venues for all stakeholders.
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the planning process including venues, contractors & other key stakeholders.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Event experience (preferably within sport) with a proven ability to deliver brilliant experiences for fans.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in major international event delivery
  • Proven ability to successfully to delegate tasks.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of the sports and entertainment industry and venues desirable.
  • A drive to create and deliver best practice systems and experiences.
  • Ability to sustain long and irregular hours and travel as required.
  • An understanding of cricket’s customs and stakeholders is desirable.
