    We are looking for an experienced product design leader to join our Digital Product team. You will lead the UX and Product Design practice at Cricket Australia in a fast-paced environment and across diverse initiatives that deliver delightful experiences to cricket fans, participants and volunteers.

    With a portfolio of products including cricket.com.au, the CA Live App and the MyCricket App, this role provides a unique opportunity to lead the design of user experiences for products used by millions of Australians and cricket fans internationally.

    About the role

    As a Product Design Manager at Cricket Australia, you’ll:
  • Champion user-centered design principles and processes, ensuring digital experiences meet both user needs and business objectives;
  • Lead and mentor product designers across research and design disciplines to develop their craft and foster a high-performance culture;
  • Champion continuous improvement through regular assessment of new design methods, practices and tools – adopting those that add value and increase efficiency;
  • Maintain design systems for all CA’s digital products;
  • Ensure consistency of design across the portfolio of CA’s digital products;
  • Champion regular user research and testing of digital products;
  • Develop personas, user journey maps, empathy maps and service design blueprints to inform product design and development;
  • Create wireframes, visual designs, interactive prototypes and UX flows that are functional and seamless for users;
  • Design and prototype concepts based on user, tech and business requirements;
  • Produce designs that follow best practices for our native mobile applications and responsive websites;
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other internal stakeholders;
  • Work with engineers to ensure efficient implementation as per agreed design specifications.

    About you
    You’ll have:
  • Significant experience designing for web and apps;
  • Experience leading user research and user testing;
  • Experience facilitating design sprints or ideation workshops;
  • Knowledge of native iOS and Android design patterns;
  • A portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of research, visual and interaction design;
  • Working knowledge of design tools like Figma and Miro;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    And ideally, you’ll have:
  • Experience leading and mentoring designers;
  • Experience working in an Agile environment;
  • A passion for cricket.
