We’re looking for an ambitious School Operations Coordinator to join our Community Cricket team. You will have the incredible opportunity to connect kids in school with cricket and ensure they have amazing experiences & inspire life-long love of the game. This is a great role to engage with our target audience and maximise the effectiveness of school engagement.

Reporting to the Participation Operations Specialist you’ll ensure high quality customer experiences for all Australian Cricket activities in schools, including programs and school to club transition. This will be achieved by delivering exceptional coordination and administrative outcomes, with an emphasis on continuous improvement.

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

– Day to day responsibility for the delivery of Cricket Australia’s school program operations:

o Oversee all program operations including continuous process review to identify and implement delivery efficiencies.

o Acting as the primary point of customer support for Cricket Australia’s school program bookings for both internal and external enquiries.

o Administer and coordinate the Sporting Schools & Mascot Challenge programs by:

§ Ensuring all of Cricket Australia’s responsibilities are met as they relate to the booking process, and monitoring and facilitating completion of required steps by third parties including State/Territory cricket associations, schools and coaches.

§ Ensuring completion of necessary onboarding processes by coaches.

§ Program reporting, analysis and data entry to an agreed schedule with the National Schools Lead.

§ Liaising with schools and Australian Cricket States & Territories to fulfil program requests and coordinate program logistics.

§ Maintain reporting requirements for programs

o Liaise with Cricket Australia’s supply partner to fulfil all school program equipment and resource requirements & online shop sales.

o Identify opportunities for system automation and enhancement.

About you

You’ll have:

– Customer service focused with a continuous improvement mindset

– Extensive administration and coordination skills

– Proficient in MS suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

– Excellent communication skills and engagement of a diverse range of stakeholders

– Detail-orientation and an ability to think laterally to solve problems

– Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Bonus Points for:

– Experience using any or all of Microsoft Excel, MyCricket, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or ZenDesk would be advantageous

– Frontline customer service experience in a related field, including technical support

– Knowledge and understanding of Cricket Australia’s programs e.g., Sporting Schools

– Previous involvement in a club sporting environment
