ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting time for us, as we are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst within our Events & Operations Department. We’re looking for someone to lead data-decision making to grow International Cricket attendance and profitability. You will have the ability to uncover insights, fuel strategic and operational initiatives that generate revenue, minimise costs and elevate customer experience that ultimately contribute to the sustainable growth of Australian Cricket. We have big ambitions for this space, so we’re looking for drive, passion, and energy to bring our plans to life.

Reporting to the Head of Ticketing & International Attendance Growth will see you engaged in:

– Managing international cricket match returns including budgeting, forecasting and finalising annual returns

– Assisting with various projects and negotiations with commercial analysis, modelling and advice

– Providing actionable insights to maximise revenue streams, ensuring financial success and continued development

– Translating data and business insights using clear and concise language that is understandable to a diverse audience

– Developing and maintaining visually compelling dashboards and reports that track KPIs, empowering stakeholders to make informed, purpose-driven decisions in real time

– Analysing current market trends, and competitive activity

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

– Relevant tertiary qualifications: Business, Economics degree or similar field

– Relevant experience in analytics, strategy or consulting roles with a proven track record of success

– Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Power BI, Excel

– A ‘solutions mindset’ of natural curiosity and insights to non-technical audiences

– Strong commercial acumen and financial knowledge, and an ability to understand financial statements

– Strong communication skills with the ability to translate details data into insightful commentary and presentation

– Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

– Excellent interpersonal skills.
