Melbourne Renegades are one step from the Weber WBBL|10 title after securing hosting rights for The Final, to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground this Sunday, December 1.
After confirming top spot on the competition table with seven regular season wins, the Renegades have earned a shot at their maiden championship, having never played in a WBBL decider.
Brisbane Heat, Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes will join the Renegades in the Weber WBBL|10 Finals Series.
The Weber WBBL|10 Finals schedule is:
- The Knockout: Sydney Thunder v Hobart Hurricanes, Wednesday, November 27, 7:15pm AEDT, Drummoyne Oval.
- The Challenger: Brisbane Heat v winner of The Knockout, Friday, November 29, 7:15pm AEDT/6:15pm AEST, Allan Border Field
- Melbourne Renegades v winner of The Challenger, Sunday, December 1, 1:20pm AEDT, Melbourne Cricket Ground
Tickets to all WBBL|10 Finals matches go on sale Monday from 10:00am local time for club members and 12:00pm to the public in each market, at www.bigbash.com.au.
Every Finals match will be broadcast live on Seven, FOX SPORTS, 7plus and Kayo Sports, with radio coverage on ABC Sport and SEN.
The Finals series follows a highly successful WBBL|10 home and away season, with average match attendances growing 21% year-on-year. Combined viewership across television and streaming has risen 38% per match this season on interim figures.
The League will also announce multiple awards and merit teams during the Finals week. In addition to the BKT Golden Cap winners, Young Gun Award and WBBL|10 Team of the Tournament, the WBBL Team of the Decade will also be unveiled.
The WBBL|10 Player of the Tournament will be announced at the Australian Cricket Awards in early 2025.
