The International Cricket Council (ICC) have launched their online Foundation and Level 1 Certificate Course which will now become part of the pathway for Cricket Canada certification.
The Foundation Course is delivered entirely online and is open to anyone looking to start their coaching career. The Level 1 which can only be accessed upon completion of the mandatory Foundation Course is made up of an online and in-person practical assessment. The purpose of the ICC Foundation Certification is to equip participants with the knowledge required to support the delivery of coaching sessions for beginners. On completion of the certificate, learners will have the knowledge to support qualified coaches in delivering fun and engaging sessions for new participants.

Cricket Canada Level 1: Coaching Certification
Whilst the ICC Foundation and Level 1 Courses serve as part of the pathway, coaches will need to complete other Coaching Association of Canada courses to be qualified under the National Coaches Certification Program.
