Cricket Hong Kong, China is pleased to announce the squad for the Bilateral T20I series to be played in Qatar from the 27th February to 1st March 2024.
Following the success of the Men’s East Asia Cup, the Hong Kong, China men’s cricket team have travelled to Qatar for three T20I matches. This series would be ideal preparation for the Home T20I series in March and leading up to the all-important ACC T20 Asia Cup Qualifiers in April 2024 to be held in Oman
Hong Kong, China skipper Nizakat Khan and vice-captain Yasim Murtaza will lead a strong 14-players squad to Qatar. Anas Khan, Ehsan Nawaz and Dhananjay Rao have also been included in the team following their inclusion in the Hong Kong Men’s One Day Series and Men’s East Asia Cup this month.
Simon Willis, Head Coach of Hong Kong, China Men’s Cricket Team said “The new editions to the squad have been showing a great progress during the home tournament. We are looking forward for the tour to Qatar as it will be a great opportunity for the boys to get their shape ready for the home series in March!”
The team will arrive in Qatar on 26th February for meetings and practice before their first game against Qatar on 27th February.
