Club Connects is a Cricket Ireland initiative for cricket clubs across the island of Ireland. Clubs are at the heart of organised sport and are often the primary way people from a wide range of local communities connect ‘face-to-face’ with the sport.
The aim of the Club Connects programme is to build the capability and capacity of volunteers in cricket clubs so that they can provide the kind of positive experiences that will aid growth in ways that matter to the clubs, the community, Cricket Ireland and Ireland as a whole.
We are delighted to kick off the Club Connects programme for 2021 with an exciting workshop ‘Creating Positive Cricket Experiences’. This workshop will help support our new National Junior Programmes, Smash It and It’s Wicket!.
Stevie Baxter from The Sporting Pursuit will be facilitating this workshop taking place on Wednesday 26 May 2021 from 7pm via Zoom. We welcome parents/guardians, coaches, Smash It and It’s Wicket! Activators and volunteers to join us on the night to discuss why kids play sport plus lots more!
Register for the workshop here.
