Cricket Ireland, officially known as The Irish Cricket Union Company Limited by Guarantee, is the governing body for cricket on the island of Ireland. It oversees the national men's and women's teams and organizes the Inter-Provincial Series, Super 3s, and All-Ireland club competitions. Irish international Curtis Campher has been called up to the Ireland Wolves tour to Namibia after three players test positive for COVID-19 on the eve of the squad’s departure.

The squad departed this morning after several last-minute decisions had to be made about the squad composition in the light of three players testing positive during their last round of pre-departure tests

The key decisions made were:

  • Ross Adair has had to withdraw from the tour, with Curtis Campher called up to join the squad;

  • William McClintock has also had to withdraw from the tour;

  • Ruhan Pretorius was called up as cover as well, but after testing positive he will have a delayed departure date and join the squad prior to the 50-over matches; and

  • Fionn Hand will also have a delayed departure date and join the squad prior to the 50-over matches.
