Cricket Ireland has today confirmed that Eimear Richardson will leave the Ireland Women squad and fly home to Dublin this evening.
Richardson joined the squad on Sunday and played in the first two matches of the series, however, after a family bereavement she has been granted leave to return to Ireland early. No replacement has been called up for the final T20I of the series on Thursday.
Richardson will re-join the squad again when they head to the UAE on Saturday ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier.
