It oversees the national men's and women's teams and organizes the Inter-Provincial Series, Super 3s, and All-Ireland club competitions. An Ireland Women’s XI will take on Lancashire Women in a one-off T20 at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground on 1 July 2021 as part of a doubleheader with a Vitality Blast match later that day.
