Approval has been granted for Mikey O’Reilly to move on loan from Munster Reds to Leinster Lightning for the remainder of the Inter-Provincial Series for 2022.

The 19-year old left-arm medium-fast seamer has played two times for the Lightning this season on temporary loan, taking two wickets at 16.50 runs apiece. The move comes as the Leinster side has been without three pace bowlers in their core squad – Peter Chase, David O’Halloran and Josh Little – all recovering from injury.

The next match Leinster Lightning will play will be against Munster Reds at The Mardyke on Tuesday. The match will be livestreamed on: www.livestream.com/CricketIrelandLive from 10.45am.
