Cricket Ireland launches its ‘On the Front Foot: Female Leaders Training’ programme.
Following the successful launch of the ‘On the Front Foot: Championing Female Leaders in Sport in 2021’ web series, today Cricket Ireland launches its ‘On the Front Foot: Leaders Training Programme’.
Supported by the Sport Ireland Women in Sport fund and in line with the Cricket Ireland Women and Girls Action Plan, the programme will encourage, enhance and support the leadership skills and journey of female leaders within cricket at Club, Provincial and National level.
Delivered by The Sporting Pursuit, training will take place over eight 90-minute online sessions over eight months beginning September 29 2021 with the final series of workshops and graduation taking place in person during May 2022 (in line with COVID-19 guidelines at the time). Programme modules include Leadership, Communication, Understanding and Values with individualised personal development plans and mentoring provided to all successful candidates.
Applicants must be over the age of 18 and a current member of a Cricket Club in Ireland on September 1 2021 to be eligible to apply to participate.
