Ireland’s Paul Stirling will join the Paarl Royals for the remainder of the inaugural SA20 franchise league.

Stirling has just finished playing in the ILT20 in Dubai where his side, the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, missed out on the semi-finals. The Irish talisman hit 168 in six innings, including two half-centuries.

The Paarl Royals are currently 4th on the table, just outside qualifying for the finals stage on run rate. He will play alongside Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler and David Miller at Boland Park.
