Irish international, and former Middlesex player, Paul Stirling will return to the County side this summer to play in at least five matches in the Vitality Blast, following the conclusion of the Ireland v Netherlands Men’s World Cup Super League series in June.
Cricket Ireland agreed to the short-term deal yesterday, which may see Stirling appear against Surrey at Lord’s on 10 June 2021.
Stirling appeared for Northamptonshire in the 2020 Vitality Blast, with the news coming just days after Stirling’s whirlwind 64 from 26 balls in the recent Northern Knights v Leinster Lightning match at Comber.
