Cricket Namibia has been on a journey to develop and expand the game of cricket in our country and Pupkewitz Toyota has been supportive of this initiative.

Pupkewitz Toyota handed over two brand new cars to Cricket Namibia yesterday, replacing the previously sponsored cars. This will enable CN staff to continue the daily operations specifically of our roving groundsmen program, to assist our clubs and community fields through regular maintenance and upliftment.

Pupkewitz Toyota sponsored CN two Vehicles beginning of the year; a Double cab Hilux and a single cab Hilux bakkie. The sponsorship is a 12-month contract that was effective in January 2020 until the end of the year in December 2020.

Cricket Namibia is pleased to have the support of Pupkewitz Toyota as this sponsorship enables the CN office to take the game of cricket to our communities. CN  was so far able to visit the northern, western and southern part of Namibia this year to train coaches, that now tallies to 262 cricket coaches in Namibia, that will spread the game across our country.

Although sporting activities were limited during the course of the year, we managed to deliver coaching equipment, facilitate school clinics  and introduce the game of cricket at Kamanjab, Khorixas, Grootfontein, Tsumeb and Kombat. The moving of mobile pitches to enable better facilities and the building of turf wickets are all success stories that CN is proud of and we are pleased to have Pupkewtitz Toyota part of this journey.
