Cricket Namibia’s Veterans Cricket Committee was specially formed to cater for our legendary cricket players and enthusiasts which aligns well with Cricket Namibia’s #Cricket4All campaign.

The Over 50 players have been actively playing club cricket as a build up towards the Over 50 World Cup scheduled to be hosted in Cape Town and we are proud to be represesnted by a  team of determined and dedicated athletes. The tournament commenses on the 6th of March – 20th March and will feature 56 matches across 23 venues in Cape Town and surroundings.

The Over 50s Namibia Cricket team hosted their first ever Golf Day on the 3rd of February 2023 as a fund rasining event for the upcoming Over 50s World Cup. The Golf Day was well supported by individuals, local entreprenuers and entities that all together raised N$ 95, 300.

Cricket Namibia and the Over 50 World Cup players would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the sponsors and partners that played a vital role in making this a huge success and supporting our legends.
