The Richelieu Eagles are off to Nepal for a tri-series against the host and the Scottish in a six-day competition scheduled to commence on the 14th – 21st of February 2023. The Eagles are looking forward to completing their 36 ODI game cycle in Nepal and finally in the UAE.
The Distell Namibia Team hosted an informal send-off for the Eagles at their offices in Windhoek on Monday, 6th of February. The informal event was attended by The Richelieu Eagles; Cricket Namibia Vice President, Polly Negongo; Cricket Namibia CEO, Johan Muller; Distell Namibia Managing Director, Leon Fouche, and Distell Namibia’s National Trade Marketing Manager, Beverly Jandrell.
Distell Namibia’s Managing Director, Leon Fouche: “Two of our values; One Distell and Excellence has been actively practiced through our partnership with Cricket Namibia. The team display ‘one Richelieu Eagles’ on field which aligns well with what we as Distell stands for. The Richelieu Eagles’ skills and winning attitude earned them our trust.” Fouche further added that the team’s culture and abilities is what results into a winning team that the Eagles are.
