Cricket Namibia is preparing to host the first Castle Lite Series for 2023. We are proud to announce that the Karnataka State team will be touring Namibia for five 50-Over matches. The series will be played at the United Cricket Grounds from the 2nd to the 11th of June.
Karnataka Cricket Team has traditionally been one of the strongest teams in the Indian domestic circuit and has produced many iconic players. This upcoming tournament is set to be one of Namibia’s most interesting inbound tours and nothing, but entertainment is expected from the series.
This clash between players from two very different continents promises to be an exciting event for cricket fans around the world. The games will be made available and accessible to the public on www.oneafrica.com.na/sportsonone/cricket/ and on Fancode, providing fans with a convenient way to catch all the action.
Cricket Namibia CEO, Johan Muller: “We are proud to host the Karnataka State team in Namibia. We are looking forward to not only competing on the cricket field but also showcasing some of the best Namibian treasures. India is rich with cricket talent, and Karnataka is one of the strongest states in India. We believe that this series will strengthen ties with the Karnataka State and hopefully lead to stronger relationships in the future. I want to thank Twenty Century Media for making this tour a reality.”
