The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier B will be held in Zimbabwe from 11-17 July 2022. Acting national coach Ryan Cook has announced his selection for the T20 World Cup Qualifier in consultation with assistant coach James Hilditch and captain Scott Edwards.
Eight teams participate in two groups. The Netherlands will compete against PNG, Hong Kong and Uganda. The other group consists of Zimbabwe, Jersey, Singapore and the United States.
Both finalists will qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Australia in October and November 2022. The winner of the tournament will be added to Group B of the final tournament, along with Ireland, Scotland and West Indies. The runner-up in the Qualifier will be added to Group A, which includes Namibia,
Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates.
