The board of the KNCB will inform you of the decision it has taken in mutual consultation with regard to the termination of the collaboration between Milena van Not and the KNCB.
In the past few weeks we have had a number of discussions about the policy to be pursued by the KNCB and its federal bureau towards the near and long-term future. This showed that the ideas and objectives of the two parties are disproportionately far apart.
These kinds of decisions are not easy for everyone directly involved, but we have to move on. This applies to both Milena with her career and the KNCB with the wish to bring an even better and healthier future to cricket in the Netherlands.
The KNCB would like to thank Milena van Not for her efforts and the achievements she has achieved in a short period of time, during which many difficult files have passed her desk. Van Not: “It’s a shame we didn’t get out of this together. I look back with pleasure on what we have achieved in the past year: working together with associations towards a new inclusiveness and diversity policy. But also that we were one of the few sports associations to be able to play a competition during the pandemic, the collaboration with NOC*NSF, the start of a full-time program with the Dutch women’s team and live streaming of the competition.”
