“Our first appearance in this much-discussed Super League is without a doubt the most important page in the history of Dutch cricket. We hope to open this first chapter against our Irish friends and opponents with a competitive series. We are delighted to see Timm van der Gugten, Freddie Klaassen and Brandon Glover return from their county cricket in England, and I expect them to join Logan van Beek and Vivian Kingma, the latter of whom are in excellent form so far this season so far stabs, form an ironclad attack. At the same time, we continue to invest in our young talents. I was able to add Musa Nadeem Ahmad to our now long list of recent debutants. He is in great shape this season in the Top Class,
This will undoubtedly be an extremely tough series of matches, but I know the players are all set and it could be a week of very exciting cricket! ”

All three matches can be seen live on Ziggo Sport. The duels count towards the qualification process for the 2023 World Cup in India. The CWC Super League is the highest possible ICC competition in international cricket. It is therefore special that the Netherlands, as a relatively small cricket country, plays in the top 12 in the world.
