As of December 15, 2024, Lucas Hendrikse will become interim CEO of the KNCB, in the absence of part of the management team, including the CEO.
Lucas Hendrikse (62) has a business economics background. He worked for 35 years in the corporate world in financial, commercial and general management, at DSM and then at a family business. For several years now, he has mainly been active as an interim manager and commissioner. He also has management experience in the cricket, football and hockey world. At the KNCB, Lucas will further develop the organization of the agency and make it future-proof.
As a cricketer, we know Lucas as an all-rounder from Quick (Hg), where he has been a member since his early youth. He reached his sporting peak in 1986, when he became Dutch champion with Quick 1.
Lucas says about his temporary appointment: “Dutch cricket is very close to my heart. Not only as a former player, but also as a spectator. I follow Dutch and international cricket closely. That is why I am looking forward to using my knowledge and experience for our sport.”
Chairman Guido Landheer: “The board is very pleased that Lucas, an experienced interim director, will lead the association office. As a former cricketer, he also has a large network in the cricket community.”
