The Dutch national men’s cricket team will play against Ireland on Wednesday 2, Friday 4 and Monday 7 June in Utrecht. This series of three one-day matches can be seen on Ziggo Sport: it is the first time that cricket is broadcast live on television in the Netherlands, with Dutch commentary.
The triptych against Ireland is the first in a series of twelve games to be played in the Netherlands in 2021 and 2022. In 2022, the Netherlands will play at home against England, Pakistan and the West Indies. These duels are part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League (CWC Super League), which is important in the qualification process for the 2023 World Cup in India. The CWC Super League is the highest possible ICC competition in international cricket.
