Ryan Campbell: “This Netherlands side represents a massive opportunity for these players to put their hands up for selection for the upcoming One Day Internationals against Scotland and Ireland .. We have not played any One Day matches since the clash with Zimbabwe in June ’19 , so we need this group to get up to speed very quickly. It is great to welcome back VCC’s Logan van Beek who will be trying to break into a very competitive fast bowling unit. Stephan Myburgh and Vikram Singh get to battle it out in a head to head contest to partner Max O’Dowd at the top of our batting order, whilst we are also giving HCC’s Musa Ahmad an opportunity after being a stand-out during the pre- season. Unfortunately, Saqib Zulfiqar is unavailable due to work commitments, but he remains very much in our plans. ”
Selection: Scott Edwards (captain, VOC), Vikramjit Singh (VRA), Stephan Myburgh (Punjab CCR), Ben Cooper (VRA), Bas de Leede (VCC), Tonny Staal (HCC), Aryan Dutt (VCC), Logan van Beek (VCC), Ryan Klein (HBS), Philippe Boissevain (VCC), Vivian Kingma (VCC), Tobias Visée (HBS), Musa Ahmad (HCC), Paul van Meekeren (UK)
