A strong list of individuals, clubs, associations, schools and councils have been named as the Cricket NSW nominations for Cricket Australia’s A Sport For All Community Cricket Awards.
The nominations across 12 categories recognise members of the cricket community from around the state who have demonstrated excellence in strengthening clubs, growing participation and building community through diversity and education.
The CNSW entries will be considered alongside the nominations from other states, with the finalists to be announced this week.
Cricket NSW General Manager of Community Cricket, Ivan Spyrdz, said the nominees epitomised the spirit of volunteerism and community values.
“All of our nominees in the A Sport For All Community Cricket Awards are wonderful examples of what is so great about our game and the people within our communities,” Spyrdz said.
“We had a lot of high quality submissions from all over the state and those that we have nominated to Cricket Australia were simply outstanding.”
