As a follow up to the CNSW Chairman’s statement at the Cricket Australia AGM, CNSW would like to congratulate and thank Richard Freudenstein for taking on the interim role of the Chair of Cricket Australia. We look forward to closely working with him through this important time for our game.

We would also like to thank outgoing Chair of Cricket Australia Earl Eddings for his contribution to cricket over many years.

We have a great game with huge opportunities but also significant challenges. It is crucial that the shareholders and the board of Cricket Australia work closely together over the next few months to learn from the past and put in place the necessary changes to ensure the success of our great game.

We must remember we are all here serving the game of cricket. We all have a responsibility to those that came before us to leave this sport in a far better place so our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren can play and love the game like we all have.
