Cricket PNG, founded as the Papua New Guinea Cricket Board of Control in 1972, is the governing body for cricket in Papua New Guinea. Headquartered in Port Moresby, it became an ICC Associate Member on July 24, 1973, and is also a member of the East Asia-Pacific Cricket Council.

Papua New Guinea will now be able to watch the Kumul Petroleum PNG Barramundis take on Nepal and the USA through the Digicel Network on TV Wan.  The whole country is really getting behind the Barras as they prepare for their first ever World Cup and being able to watch the team will only increase the excitement.  CEO, Greg Campbell “It is great that Digicel are on board for this event, which will bring expanded coverage to all of our fans across Papua New Guinea.” The matches will be played at Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman, with the opening two games starting at 11am local time, with the final two games to be played as day/night games starting at 4pm local time.
