With one week to go until the Inspiresport Scottish Schools Cup Finals Day for Under 15 and Under 18 Boys, and Under 18 Girls, some fantastic cricket has been played over the past eight weeks.

As part of Cricket Scotland’s Schools Week of Cricket, each of the age group cups will feature morning semi-finals and an afternoon final on Friday June 16.

In the Boys’ Under 18s draw, Stewart’s Melville were first into the semi-finals with wins over Gordonstoun and Loretto whilst Strathallan booked their semi-final place this week with an impressive 28 run win at New Field over Edinburgh Academy. Both will find out their opponents in the coming days as Fettes take on Robert Gordon’s and GWC play Merchiston.

Mary Erskine secured their place at the Girls’ Under 18s Finals Day with a convincing win over the High School of Glasgow and they will face defending champions Fettes. In the other semi-final, Loretto await their opponents from the quarter-final tie between Cargilfield and GWC.

In the Boys’ Under 15s Cup, defending champions GWC have won through a tough draw, beating Heriots and Fettes, on their way to a semi-final place versus Strathallan. In the top half of the draw, Stewarts’s Melville take on Robert Gordon’s.

The Boys’ Finals Day on Friday June 16 starts at 10.30am with the U18s at Myreside and the U15s at Craiglockart. The finals are due to commence at 2.15pm.

Fettes hosts the Girls’ Under 18 finals day with their semi-finals starting at 11am and final at 1.30pm.
