The Role

We are currently seeking to appoint a full time Membership Experience & Sales Officer to help drive connection with our members and supporters. Our Membership Experience & Sales Officers are relentless in the delivery of outstanding customer service and are critical in enabling us to achieve our purpose of inspiring and supporting all Victorians to love cricket.  

This is a fixed term position from July 2024 to January 2025. There will be another short term opportunity available later in the year.

The Membership Experience & Sales Officer will primarily work during office hours, however the role will also require working match days and official club events.

The successful candidate must be available to work out of hours and weekends from October to January.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in all activities including face-to-face, email and phone communication
  • Inbound and outbound membership sales and servicing, ensuring exceptional levels of customer service
  • Provide consumer services exceeding expectations of all Cricket Victoria, Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades stakeholders, including but not limited to members, customers, and partners
  • Support with all enquiries relating to the Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars brands including, but not limited to, match day activities and tickets, membership sales, Club information, etc.
  • Process membership and events through the Archtics CRM membership system
  • Ensure all member details (including packages and seating details) are correctly entered into the membership system
  • Process payments and enter sales data into the CRM
  • Deliver tactical outbound telephone campaigns to drive membership retention and acquisition
  • Provide match day membership and ticketing support
  • Data integrity through ensuring that all personal details are entered correctly and accurately, and that all data is treated in accordance with relevant legislation and our clubs’ Privacy Policy

About You

As a Membership Experience & Sales Officer, you will be responsible for generating the maximum number of membership sales throughout our membership retention and acquisition phase. You will be required to work autonomously and will be accountable for achieving daily sales targets through a combination of inbound and outbound calls. You will be responsible for ensuring all membership enquiries are responded to in a timely manner whilst maintaining an excellent level of customer service. As a Membership Experience & Sales Officer, you will also play a key role within the wider Consumer Business team, with duties covering match days, Cricket Victoria events and merchandise sales.

To be considered, you will meet the below criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification or third year student in related discipline
  • Customer service and administrative experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in reporting and data capturing
  • Archtics experience is preferred but not essential
  • Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (or arranged on appointment)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
