MANCHESTER: Proteas all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo has been ruled out for the remainder of the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against England due to the concussion he sustained following a collision with a team-mate while fielding, during the first ODI at The Riverside in Durham on Tuesday.
Proteas team doctor, Dr Hashendra Ramjee explained: “Following his concussion, Andile has been monitored closely and has shown signs of improvement. He will now commence his concussion return to play rehabilitation program.”
