The Board of Directors of Cricket South Africa (CSA) has appointed its chairperson, Mr Lawson Naidoo, to represent it on the Board of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

“This is an important step forward as we seek to rebuild our credibility within the ICC and play a meaningful role in advancing equity among cricket nations, in the best interests of the global game, as espoused by the ICC’s own responsibilities, vision and growth strategies,” commented Mr Naidoo.

The Board also finalised the chairs of the various sub-committees at its meeting this evening. Further details will be announced in due course.
