Cricket South Africa (CSA) has congratulated Western Province and South Africa (SA) Emerging for their outstanding achievements in the 2023/24 CSA 1 Day Cup.
Western Province secured their championship title with a resounding 107-run victory over the North West Dragons at Newlands on Saturday, an exceptional win as the only unbeaten side in the competition.
Meanwhile, the young and talented SA Emerging side clinched victory against ITEC Knights in Bloemfontein last week, marking their remarkable progress in the run-up to the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024.
CSA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Pholetsi Moseki, commented;
“Congratulations to Western Province and SA Emerging for their well-deserved victories in the CSA 1 Day Cup.
