Cricket South Africa (CSA) has congratulated the 2022/23 CSA T20 Challenge winners, Momentum Multiply Titans.
Titans went head-to-head with the Hollywoodbets Dolphins for the title in front of a buzzing crowd at the JB Marks Oval. A fitting final as the two teams played the opening match of the competition last month.
The Titans have been consistent throughout the tournament, losing only one match in their campaign.
CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki, congratulated the champions on their achievement.
“Congratulations to the Momentum Multiply Titans on being crowned champions of the 2022/23 CSA T20 Challenge.
“With this victory, they have managed to put themselves ahead as the promotion/relegation system commences at the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.
“The CSA T20 Challenge continues to unleash our very best in local talent. We have seen a new T20 aggregate world record and personal best records set in Potchefstroom. And in all the action, this competition has once again given us new and exciting talent to be proud of and look forward to,” Moseki continued.
“A special mention to North West Cricket and all affiliates, sponsors, administrators, fans and the media for making this competition the success it was,” concluded Moseki.
This season, CSA has taken a firm stand against gender-based-violence. An important call to action for all our cricket followers in the country.
Take a stand and make the pledge to #ENDGBV.
