Cricket South Africa (CSA) is thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting new addition to the upcoming season with the introduction of the ‘Excellence in Performance Caps’ as part of the domestic T20 Challenge.
This recognition system aims to celebrate and motivate players by awarding caps for outstanding individual achievements in batting and bowling. It is also aligned to CSA’s strategic pillar of excellence.
The Excellence in Performance Caps will be awarded to the Top Run-Scorer (TRS – Green Cap) and Top Wicket-Taker (TWT – Yellow Cap) during the competition. These caps will be worn by players during matches, providing a visible symbol of their excellence on the field.
It is designed to promote continued excellence, with players being rewarded based on their statistical performance. CSA hopes to foster a healthy competitive spirit within teams by recognising noteworthy performance.
